Tara is a Doula UK Recognised and Nurturing Birth Certified birth and postnatal doula, an almost-qualifed breastfeeding counsellor and a trainee antenatal teacher. She is also the proud mum of two beautiful little girls, Amy and Megan!
"When I was pregnant I made the decision that I would consume the placenta after birth to take advantage of the hormonal and nutritional benefits to the new mum contained within it. I was lucky enough to have a wonderfully smooth and happy postpartum period and a successful and joyous breastfeeding relationship and I feel certain that this was contributed to in no small part by the consumption of my placenta.
