Koala Therapies was founded by Lynnea three years ago and offers a variety of holistic therapies to the general public.  Human physiology and natural medicine have been the roots of Lynnea's studies and research since she moved to England from America 7 years ago.  Lynnea studied Biology at Kingston University and grew a profound interest in the natural ways of healing the body and curing ailments using complementary therapies, massage and natural remedies.  After becoming a mother in 2006 and experiencing the ailments most pregnant and post-natal women suffer from first hand, Lynnea chose to specialise in pregnancy and post-natal massage offering relief to women who need it most.

Baby massage has also become a huge part of Lynnea's life and has been a competely enjoyable experience for her since the beginning.  As a mum of two, Lynnea has had the pleasure of learning how to massage her baby Sianna from 10 weeks old during classes taught by the well know baby massage instructor, Chris Woollatt in Walton-upon-Thames. Not long after Sianna grew out of her baby massage classes, Lynnea decided to study as an instructor of baby massage at the Body Basics School in north London.  She now runs up to 5 baby massage classes a week, works with nurseries and runs private lessons, colic workshops and demonstrations throughout the Greater London and Surrey area.  Lynnea is so grateful to be invited into the lives of so many wonderful families.

Placenta Encapsulation Lynnea began to research the benefits of placenta encapsulation in the summer of 2008 while pregnant with her second child.  As a mother she has developed first hand understanding and sympathy for the hormonal inbalance present in all women immediately after the birth of their baby.  After hundreds of hours of research, several trial encapsulations and her own positive experience with encapsulation using her own placenta from her son's birth in March '09, Lynnea truely believes in the healing powers of the placenta.  Using Traditional Chinese Medicine, Lynnea now specialises in the dehydration and encapsulation of the placenta into small pills for mothers to replenish lost nutrients and hormones during the post-partum stage.  Due to high demand for placenta encapsulation, Lynnea now runs training workshops for doula's and midwives offering them a chance to provide this unique service to their clients.  For more information about placenta encapsulation please click here
